World War I Chinese Labor Sculpture Opened In St. Contan, France

On November 27, 2018, in commemoration of the Chinese workers in World War I and continuation of the friendship between China and France, the sculpture of Chinese workers in World War I was unveiled in Isley Park, St. Kantane, France, by Yuan Xikun, a famous plastic artist and curator of Beijing Jintai Museum of Art.

Song Jingwu, Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Foreign Friendship, Yuan Xikun, Sculpture Creator, Gao Ping, Counsellor of the Chinese Consulate Department in France, Chairman of the French Regional Council of Upper France, Kzavier Bertrand, Governor of Ena Province, Mayor of St. Kantane, Mayor of St. Margaret, Vice Mayor of St. Kantane, Alex Grandan and City of St. Kantane Several mayors and city councillors of the city complex attended the opening ceremony of the sculpture.
